There is also a shuttle package that you can book instead if you prefer, or just let them know you’d like to park when you arrive.

The hotel’s location along Astronaut Boulevard—which leads to Port Canaveral—means it is not directly on the beach. However, it’s near several restaurants and bars that you can enjoy the evening before your cruise begins. Plus, the beach is only 1.5 miles from the hotel, so it’s easy to access for those hoping to kick off their vacation a little early. Many hotels in the Orlando and Cape Canaveral area will offer a shuttle service from the hotel to port.
One of the newer resorts, SpringHill Suites Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach blends stylish accommodations with an intentional design. The all-suite hotel features spacious rooms and public spaces designed for work or play. The one thing that’s bothered me is that there aren’t as many hotels - or at least hotels I’ve liked, as one would expect.
The Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport offers many amenities that we found useful. I had planned to let my three-year-old swim in the outdoor pool before dinner, but our flight had been delayed getting into Orlando. In addition, you would need to reserve shuttle services to the Port Canaveral terminal on embarkation day. A simple solution (if you are flying into Orlando) is to book a room at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport. So, make sure you give yourself (and your luggage) plenty of time to make it to the cruise port on embarkation day.
Situated in Cocoa Beach, Florida, this enchanting hotel offers breathtaking views of the ocean and convenient access to a pristine beach. Rooms with either one king bed or two queen beds are available, some of which provide Club Lounge access. Our last hotel recommendation near the Orlando airport is the Renaissance Orlando Airport Hotel. Like other airport hotels, the Renaissance is located just a few minute’s drive away from the airport and offers convenience for a pre-cruise stay. Breakfast is not included in the standard hotel rate, but there are several breakfast options nearby including IHOP and Denny’s.
It doesn’t feature any restaurants, but you can find several nearby. These package options include shuttle services to and from the port, long-term parking, and—unlike most other area hotels — transportation to and from Orlando International Airport (MCO). The hotel offers attractive cruise packages, including parking and shuttle transportation to Port Canaveral cruise terminals. If you don’t wish to purchase a package, the hotel also offers cruise parking for $15/day.
However, the task of making pre cruise travel plans can often become stressful. If you’re anything like me, you feel the need to research hotels near the port, shuttles to those hotels, and then transportation to the cruise port. Some offer parking for just a few bucks per day while others offer up parking packages. That said, most of the hotels have parking packages that are a few dollars more than the regular booking rate. While the price is a little higher, it’s still much cheaper than parking at Port Canaveral.
This rate includes parking in the hotel’s garage and roundtrip transfers from the hotel to the Port Canaveral cruise port. Are shuttle rides round trip between the hotel and the cruise port? While a number of hotels do offer round trip service, some offer only one-way trips. Any package you book will tell you clearly if the ride is roundtrip. Travelers looking to enjoy every second of their cruise vacation will be glad to know that this is a great way to make sure you get to the port as early as possible. Sometimes, if you arrive at the port early enough, you can inquire about a room upgrade during cruise check in.
